Why Maila
Maila is a small hockey stick brand from Finland. Our mission is bigger than we are: build the best sticks on the ice, and the ones you can actually spot on it. Because hockey has looked the same for far too long.

The short version
Great sticks come in one color: black. We never thought that was a good enough reason. So we build a proper 100% carbon stick, tune the flex and the blade until it plays with the best of them, then we do the thing nobody else bothers with. We give it a color.
Born in Finland
Finland is a hockey country. Rinks in every town, games on every screen, kids on the ice before they can spell their own name. And almost every stick, at every level, is black. We never understood that part, so we changed it.
Designed and tested in Finland, and named in Finnish too. “Maila” means “stick”. We named a stick brand Stick. It fit.

Made to play
The color is what you notice first. The stick is what matters. 100% carbon fiber, 3XS cross-laminated, one flex per size, tuned until it does what a top stick should do. The full spec sits on every product page, because a good stick has nothing to hide.
Where the sticks are made
Manufactured in China, designed and tested in Finland. We say it once, plainly. The design, the flex, the blade and the testing are ours. The color is your call.
What comes in the box
Every stick ships in a velvet bag with a regulation-size puck. One blade pattern. One flex per size. Left or right. 100% carbon fiber. No 40-option menu, because you didn’t ask for one.

You’ve got a lovely stick
That’s what we want people at the rink to say when they see it. Ready to pick a color?
