FAQ
Is Maila a real composite hockey stick?
Yes. It’s 100% carbon fiber with a real flex, weight and length for each size. It plays like the sticks you already know. It just isn’t black.

Where are the sticks made?
Manufactured in China and designed and tested in Finland.
Do you ship to the United States?
Yes. We ship from Finland with tracking. Duties and taxes are included in the price, so there’s no customs bill on delivery. Figure about 1 to 2 weeks after we pack it.
How much is shipping?
Free to the US, built into the price.
What sizes do you make?
Three: Senior (77 flex, 385 g, 165 cm), Intermediate (50 flex, 320 g, 157 cm), and Junior (20 flex, 260 g, 147 cm). One flex per size.
Which flex should I choose?
As a rough start, flex is about half your body weight in pounds. Senior is 77, Intermediate 50, Junior 20. Not sure? Use Find your stick.
Is it available left-handed?
Yes. Every stick comes left or right handed, same price.
What comes in the box?
The stick, a velvet bag, and a regulation-size puck.
What if my stick breaks?
If it breaks in normal play within 30 days of delivery, we replace it once. After that, manufacturing defects are covered for a year. Full terms on the warranty page.
Can I return it?
Yes. You have 30 days to return an unused stick. Details on the returns page.
Why aren’t your sticks black?
Because black was taken. We think you should get a choice.
What does “Maila” mean?
“Maila” means “stick” in Finnish. We named a stick brand Stick. It felt right.
