Right-handed hockey sticks

Every Maila stick is made right-handed or left-handed, at the same price either way. Choose right in the Hand menu on the product page and that’s the whole decision. Ten colors, three sizes, 100% carbon fiber, one flex per size. The box is the same on both sides: the stick, a velvet bag and a regulation puck.

Which sticks come right-handed?

Every one of them, in all three sizes and all ten colors. The hand is an option on the product page, not a separate model, so nothing else moves with it. Senior is flex 77 at 385 g and 165 cm (65 in). Intermediate is flex 50 at 320 g and 157 cm (62 in). Junior is flex 20 at 260 g and 147 cm (58 in).

How to tell if you shoot right

Look at which hand sits lower on the shaft. On a right-handed stick that’s the right hand, down closer to the blade. Pick up a broom, start sweeping, and your hands will sort themselves out. Plenty of right-handed people shoot left, so the hand you write with settles nothing. There’s a second test in the guide.

Height and weight decide the size, not age. Answer two questions and get a size, or put all three side by side on the size chart.

If you order the wrong hand

Send an unused stick back within 30 days and we’ll refund it. Once it has been on the ice it counts as used, so check the grip off-ice. The returns page spells out the window and the postage.
